Mission

Fleet Obsolete Restoration Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that is chartered by the New York State Education Department. Its mission is to rescue and restore artifacts and vessels of the World War II era in order to preserve the memories of the events of the time, honor our local veterans, safeguard the future of these vessels, and share their stories and those of our local maritime industry with our community and the world.
